With a little luck, S.u.v.a's Celestino Montrell got control of the ball when Froilan Kismi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Eloy Papo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Confesor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Celestino Montrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Valentine in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Eloy Papo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Confesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Confesor having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Genaro Bidari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.E.C. FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.u.v.a the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, A.E.C. FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Bidari to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the A.E.C. FC defense, Eloy Papo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Confesor. The A.E.C. FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Confesor should have stopped the shot. A.E.C. FC's Roberto Confesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Papo in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of S.u.v.a booed when A.E.C. FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Valentine didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Hipolito Fero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.u.v.a's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Fero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Eloy Papos short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Roberto Confesor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Roberto Confesor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hipolito Fero went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Roberto Confesor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipolito Fero in the 59th minute. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Eloy Papo sped through A.E.C. FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto Confesor. In the 63rdth minute of the game Eloy Papo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.E.C. FC's Roberto Confesor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hipolito Fero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Roberto Confesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes A.E.C. FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Valentine. Eloy Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Confesor having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Luisito Rivas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celestino Montrell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Oinatz in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Confesor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Fidel Oinatz put it in 2-7 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Confesor. Maximo Cristos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Cristos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Confesor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded S.u.v.a left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.E.C. FC.
