Emanuel Osorio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Universidad de la Cocoya's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Sein came free, but Berkay Secavend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sopanta AFC booed when Universidad de la Cocoya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Lucian didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Universidad de la Cocoya's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Viviano came free, but Berkay Secavend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Aquiles Rico reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jesus Ascencio. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 20th minute, Aquiles Rico fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jesus Ascencio, passed just outside the right post. Mateo Lucian might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Ascencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Lucian ran back to his position shaking his head. Aquiles Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Universidad de la Cocoya's Machado Lasurtigui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Ascencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jesus Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Rico in the 36th minute of play. Berkay Secavend didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roque Viviano went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Roque Viviano made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Universidad de la Cocoya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joffrey Belval to maneuver through the defense. Berkay Secavend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Viviano in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes, Mateo Lucian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Universidad de la Cocoya and the Sopanta AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute of the match, Roque Viviano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Berkay Secavend saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With 57 minutes on the clock, Mateo Lucian commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Berkay Secavend made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Benjamin Nisio sent off a good shot on target. Berkay Secavend showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Sopanta AFC's Emanuel Osorio got a free kick in the 87th minute. Universidad de la Cocoya's Edgard Joey managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Esteve Ellande in the 89 minute of the game. Edgard Joey struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jesus Ascencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universidad de la Cocoya. Aquiles Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 98th minute, Roque Viviano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Berkay Secavend. The goal made the score 1-6. Sopanta AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Universidad de la Cocoya's much stronger midfield.
