Camilo Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Lico in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Cristobal Lico made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Lertxun. Grand Soul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Grand Soul's Camilo Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Lico in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Cefero in the 19th minute of play forced Villa Santa Rita's goalkeeper Camilo Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Pitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Arnau in the 21st minute of play. In the 29th minute Cristobal Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Lertxun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Lertxun didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Villa Santa Rita's Cristobal Lico shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Grand Soul's Haroldo Arnau got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Andreas Makrigiannis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Lertxun. Grand Soul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andreas Makrigiannis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Cristobal Lico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Lertxun having to interfere. After the first half Villa Santa Rita were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Prospero Tuste kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Elvio Paublo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Villa Santa Rita's Camilo Pitin. Camilo Pitin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haroldo Arnau scored 3-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Pitin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venancio Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Haroldo Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. After 86 played minutes Grand Soul got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Cefero. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elvio Paublo in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Pitin saved Villa Santa Rita from getting behind. Grand Soul's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
