After 4 played minutes Receptoría got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Rubio. Feliberto Natal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Astudillo in the 7th minute of the match. Aquiles Elizardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Matthew having to interfere. Feliberto Natal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Chumo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Receptoría's Jonatan Javiar got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliberto Natal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Chumo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Chumo in the 21st minute of play forced Receptoría's goalkeeper Feliberto Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Elizardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Matthew. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquiles Elizardo ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Receptoría's goalkeeper Feliberto Natal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeo Chumo. In the 32nd match minute, Fenix Fc. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Chumo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Astudillo in the 34th minute of play forced Receptoría's goalkeeper Feliberto Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Matthew came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Receptoría's Aquiles Elizardo. But to his dismay, Aquiles Elizardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jonatan Javiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Piarres hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Receptoría's Feliberto Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Firman in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Elizardo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Tonio in the 53rd minute of play forced Receptoría's goalkeeper Feliberto Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Jairo Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Natal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Piarres kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Receptoría's Armando Bastia got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Sixto Goiz came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Receptoría fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Goiz couldn't finish the play. Jonatan Javiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Matthew having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match Jonatan Xacintu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliberto Natal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Receptoría's Sixto Goiz got a free kick in the 89th minute. Fenix Fc.'s Luis Juvenal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Matias Franco, made in the 94th minute of the game. When the final whistle went the supporters of Receptoría were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Fenix Fc. side.
