Fenix Fc.'s Francisco Matthew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Gonchan in the 3rd minute of play. Elpidio Mitxaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mario Gonchan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Gonchan in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Matthew saved Fenix Fc. from getting behind. Alfonso Firman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Porfirio hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Francisco Matthew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Sugar in the 31st minute of the match. If Cristobal Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fenix Fc.'s zone, Elpidio Mitxaut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Matthew came out of the goal and Elpidio Mitxaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristobal Mino scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Matthew, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute, Cristobal Mino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romero FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Fenix Fc. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Romero FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Chumo made a kick off. A hard shot 54 in the game by Mario Gonchan from a close distance when the talented Francisco Matthew managed to make a qualified save. Fenix Fc.'s players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Fenix Fc.'s zone, Elpidio Mitxaut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Matthew came out of the goal and Elpidio Mitxaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Matthew came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Romero FC's Elpidio Mitxaut. But to his dismay, Elpidio Mitxaut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristobal Mino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francisco Matthew. That made the score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. Elpidio Mitxaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Mario Gonchan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Gonchan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Matthew breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Mario Gonchan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Romero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Chumo came free, but Atilano Txilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristobal Mino struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Francisco Matthew didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romero FC. In the 86th minute, Cristobal Mino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Francisco Matthew. The goal made the score 0-5. Jairo Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
