When Sergio Cambranes fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sentimiento Leproso's protests and gave Sergio Cambranes a yellow card for diving instead. Ivan Tancredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Aureo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Yu Yuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Tigre. Rene Bernebe hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Orlo in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Atletico Tigre's goalkeeper Placido Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atletico Tigre's Paulino Olayo suffered a sore knee after 35 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Orlo was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Edelmiro Abadie made a precise shot to the right of Yu Yuan. Sentimiento Leproso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Placido Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Orlo in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Tigre's Jhon Cooke got a free kick in the 94th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
