The supporters of Santo de Merlo booed when Matadores F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Luzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliviero Revuelta struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Adan Arixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matadores F.C. Candido Leoncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Arixo having to interfere. Oliviero Revuelta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Arixo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 0-2 became the score in the 19th minute when Oliviero Revuelta elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Adan Arixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliviero Revuelta in the 26th minute of the match. Candido Leoncio struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. A wasted opportunity for Matadores F.C. 31 minutes into the match, Marco Florinio notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Matadores F.C's Jesus Leoiar. Jesus Leoiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34thth minute of the game Oliviero Revuelta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santo de Merlo's Adan Arixo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Santo de Merlo getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Rigoberto Peruanton hit a great ball. Denis Gimenez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Leoiar having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Florinio got free with Jesus Leoiar in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Candido Leoncio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Santo de Merlo's Adan Arixo. Adan Arixo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Matadores F.C's Jesus Leoiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Peruanton in the 55th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Candido Leoncio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesus Leoiar came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Santo de Merlo's Denis Gimenez. But to his dismay, Denis Gimenez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 69th minute Marco Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Leoiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Arixo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Matadores F.C's zone, Denis Gimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Leoiar came out of the goal and Denis Gimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Gimenez in the 93rd minute of play forced Matadores F.C's goalkeeper Jesus Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Santo de Merlo's Melquiades Tiniebra got a free kick in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Cosme Castel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matadores F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Castel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Arixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Santo de Merlo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Matadores F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
