Honorato Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorato Pelayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philip Lindkvist went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Philip Lindkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorato Pelayo having to make a save. Philip Lindkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Honorato Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Laureano Sanson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivadavia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Sanson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Meder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 29 minutes, Philip Lindkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huascha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Lindkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philip Lindkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Favila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Philip Lindkvist put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Honorato Pelayo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavio Eskuin was the one to do the kick off. Marcelo Meder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Eskuin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Anacleto Matxin fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivadavia FC's protests and gave Anacleto Matxin a yellow card for diving instead. Huascha FC's Horacio Indalecio was substituted for Oscar Santxol. The supporters of Huascha FC booed when Rivadavia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Pelayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philip Lindkvist's shot from short distance in the 85th minute.
