Rivadavia FC's Honorato Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Inko in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Abelardo Viviano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rivadavia FC's Laureano Sanson got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Churqui FC's zone, Octavio Eskuin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Mambru came out of the goal and Octavio Eskuin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Laureano Sanson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivadavia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Sanson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Mambru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Rivadavia FC booed when Churqui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Suero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Rivadavia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Churqui FC:s goal. A collision led to Churqui FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Cipriano Garoa hit a great ball. Astor Inko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Honorato Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Churqui FC's Bernardino Suero got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Laureano Sanson made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Mambru. Churqui FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 95th minute, Rivadavia FC's Octavio Eskuin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erasmo Mambru. Erasmo Mambru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. With a little luck, Churqui FC's Erasmo Mambru got control of the ball when Laureano Sanson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rivadavia FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
