In the 87th minute Modesto Rosario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Javiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Matai got free with Ermegildo Guib in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Matai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ermegildo Guib made a huge save. When Godfredo Manilan fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tacheros's protests and gave Godfredo Manilan a yellow card for diving instead.
