With a little luck, Club Mar de Arenas's Santo Menendo got control of the ball when Eriberto Leoiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oriental Rosario's Leo Rulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Gartzen in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Guerau in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Rulli saved Oriental Rosario from getting behind. Luisito Peruxu's late challenge caught a Club Mar de Arenas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Club Mar de Arenas's Arsenio Segio got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Guerau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Leo Rulli made a huge save. Hermengildo Rumaldo made a great header on Club Mar de Arenas's corner, it was just that Oriental Rosario's Leo Rulli managed to reach the ball for a save. Augusto Guerau might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Rulli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Guerau ran back to his position shaking his head. Herminio Domeka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Menendo having to interfere. Club Mar de Arenas were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
