The supporters of Visser booed when Athletic Valence FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Behe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Visser were awarded a corner. Gregorio Abaurre went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Visser's corner Gregorio Abaurre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abelardo Silvanito quite easily take care of the ball. Israel Nuxila's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Abelardo Silvanito skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Israel Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Athletic Valence FC's Amador Felo got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Silvanito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Abelardo Silvanito came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Visser's Israel Nuxila. But to his dismay, Israel Nuxila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 32 minutes, Severiano Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Visser's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Bermudez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Severiano Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgardo Jenaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgardo Jenaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 played minutes Athletic Valence FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Javiar. Abelardo Silvanito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Leoncio in the 54th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Visser got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Bermudez. Amador Felo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Bernardo Tipi made a huge save. Bernardo Tipi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgardo Jenaro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 68 minute of play. In the 72nd minute Marcelino Leoncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Silvanito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Leoncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Israel Nuxila sped through Athletic Valence FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abelardo Silvanito. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Athletic Valence FC's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Nuxila came free, but Abelardo Silvanito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Athletic Valence FC's Abelardo Silvanito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Leoncio in the 91st minute of play. Abelardo Silvanito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Nuxila in the 93rd minute of play. Athletic Valence FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
