When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Norberto Beremundo sped through Chapaleofú FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Humberto Eguen. 7 minutes in the game, Evaristo Cordarin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Emilio Bide having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Beremundo in the 8th minute of play forced Chapaleofú FC's goalkeeper Humberto Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Isias's late challenge caught a Emana Magia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Evaristo Cordarin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emilio Bide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norberto Beremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Eguen having to interfere. When Evaristo Cordarin came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Chapaleofú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Cordarin couldn't finish the play. Cayetano Camerino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Eguen having to interfere. If Generoso Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Emana Magia's zone, Haroldo Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Bide came out of the goal and Haroldo Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Lluterio's late challenge caught a Chapaleofú FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergio Lluterio helped the player get up and apologised. 1-1 came through a penalty shot after 29 played minutes, when Chapaleofú FC:s Donato Urre calmly waited for Emana Magia:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Emilio Bide was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Haroldo Lopez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Haroldo Lopez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Haroldo Lopez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Bide having to make a save. Evaristo Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cayetano Camerino made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Evaristo Cordarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapaleofú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Cordarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Beremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Emana Magia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Chapaleofú FC had controlled the match.
