Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Luján AFC's Rogelio Curcio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Segundo Ignado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 7th minute when Severino Pueblo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Rogelio Curcio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Ignado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Barry Lammers firmly grabbed it by the left post. The C. A. Boca Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when C. A. Boca Juniors's Lucian Codrea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Barry Lammers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Curcio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Luján AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Codrea came free, but Dario Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Pueblo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dario Omero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Segundo Ignado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Omero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucian Codrea's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Rogelio Curcio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barry Lammers. C. A. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Curcio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Lucian Codrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Omero having to interfere. If Lucian Codrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Severino Pueblo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute Severino Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Omero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Luján AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C. A. Boca Juniors were winning 1-3.

Segundo Ignado took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barry Lammers. Barry Lammers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Bortzaioriz in the 58th minute of play forced C. A. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Barry Lammers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Bortzaioriz's late challenge caught a C. A. Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Bortzaioriz helped the player get up and apologised. Lucian Codrea in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dario Omero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rogelio Curcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Ignado in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barry Lammers saved C. A. Boca Juniors from getting behind. Lucian Codrea struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Dario Omero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Boca Juniors. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luján AFC's goalkeeper Dario Omero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Luján AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Francisco Bortzaioriz hit a great ball. If Lucian Codrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Segundo Ignado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Curcio took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barry Lammers. Barry Lammers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 100th minute, Rogelio Curcio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luján AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3.
