Amadeo Eskuin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Castulo in the 12th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Eustacio Goizeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Florentino FC and the Ogilvie players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eustacio Goizeder was shown his second yellow card after 19 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gregorio Platon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristides Ferrer went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Matro in the 41st minute of play forced Ogilvie's goalkeeper Gregorio Platon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Florentino FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeo Eskuin should have stopped the shot. When Arturo Loco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. In the 83rd minute, Arturo Loco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino FC's Santiago Honesto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ogilvie. Florentino FC's Amadeo Eskuin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Castulo in the 88th minute of play. Florentino FC's Aristides Ferrer was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 89th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Aristides Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Platon having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Florentino FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
