Anacleto Leheren hit a great ball. Delmar Chorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shi Chao Ting having to interfere. Tobias Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Burni having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Jose Eneas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ostende's Marco Burni. Marco Burni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Shi Chao Ting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Heriberto in the 21st minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Tobias Blasi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Burni. Ostende's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Blasi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Dionisio Heriberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Ostende's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Eneas came free, but Marco Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jose Eneas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Burni was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Tobias Blasi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Blasi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Burni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jose Eneas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Marco Burni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jose Eneas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Jose Eneas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Burni, 0-5. The supporters of Fortuna booed when Ostende was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Berart didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Jose Eneas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ostende's Marco Burni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Ostende's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Eneas came free, but Marco Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gaitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shi Chao Ting read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Tobias Blasi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Fortuna's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 89th minute Tobias Blasi suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Anacleto Leheren's late challenge caught a Fortuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anacleto Leheren helped the player get up and apologised. Anacleto Leheren hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Dionisio Heriberto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ostende fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The Ostende supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fortuna's performance. The match ended with a win for Fortuna.
