Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lucas Florian kicked off to start the match. Severo Haitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Patrido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severo Haitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Victorio Txindoki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Patrido having to interfere. José Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Manuel Martxot sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the game, Laureano Firman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pescadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavanagh the free kick. Laureano Firman kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Domingos Araoz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Gaspar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Severo Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pescadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Haitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Patrido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Cavanagh defense, Severo Haitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Patrido. The Cavanagh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Patrido should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute of the match, Elvio Chucho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Gaspar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th minute, Cavanagh's Prospero Sugoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Gaspar. José Gaspar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The supporters of Pescadores booed when Cavanagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Araoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pescadores's Victorio Txindoki got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pescadores getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Laureano Firman hit a great ball. Pescadores's Severo Haitz got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Victorio Txindoki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Gilberto Isadore's late challenge caught a Cavanagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Isadore helped the player get up and apologised. José Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Martxot in the 61st minute of the match. Severo Haitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Pedro Patrido made a huge save. Manuel Martxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. José Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Pescadores's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Florian came free, but José Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Elvio Chucho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pescadores's José Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Florian in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Cavanagh booed when Pescadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Martxot in the 95th minute of the match.
