Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Energía AFC's Jose Solustiano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Energía AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Felipo. Energía AFC's Nicolae Coposu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Garin in the 7th minute of play. Jose Solustiano struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Isaac Vedillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Energía AFC. In a very dangerous position, a player in Acosta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Gaudencio Opilano walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Celedonio Nerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Energía AFC's goalkeeper Nicolae Coposu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Nerio. Maximo Bitxintxo's late challenge caught a Acosta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Bitxintxo helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Energía AFC's Nicolae Coposu got control of the ball when Celedonio Nerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaudencio Opilano charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaudencio Opilano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaudencio Opilano hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Nicolae Coposu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Nerio in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Acosta were awarded a corner. Dionisio Afonso went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 31 minutes, Rodolfo Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acosta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Mambru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolae Coposu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Garin in the 33rd minute of play. If Celedonio Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Celedonio Nerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acosta's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Nerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolae Coposu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Celedonio Nerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acosta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. With a little luck, Energía AFC's Nicolae Coposu got control of the ball when Celedonio Nerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The wind increased when Celedonio Nerio made the kick off in the second half. If Celedonio Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. Celedonio Nerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Coposu having to interfere. Acosta's Celedonio Nerio got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolae Coposu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Ezkerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acosta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
