An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Curcio in the 16th minute of play forced Angostaco's goalkeeper Simon Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Berdoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Pirro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Ceferino Endira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Iker Curcio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Angostaco:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ceibal FC:s goal. The referee gave Ceibal FC a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sebastian Firmin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Angostaco's Simon Berdoi. 0-1. In the 30th match minute, Angostaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Lorencio to maneuver through the defense. Iker Curcio might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simon Berdoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
