Spectators: 7065 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1625, VIP seats: 140) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Feliciano Arnau took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gualterio Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Iruinea in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Javier Hernando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eloy Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Iruinea in the 18th minute of play forced Luciernaga FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Luciernaga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Arnau came free, but Gualterio Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Gombal hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Natalio Karlo charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio Karlo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Luciernaga FC's Natalio Karlo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Gualterio Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Arnau in the 30th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Club A. River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Osorio. Ciro Reyes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gaudencio Sugoi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Aristides Oihenarte made the kick off in the second half. Feliciano Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Luciernaga FC's zone, Victorino Oidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Estevon came out of the goal and Victorino Oidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Albino Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albino Iruinea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gualterio Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Jokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74th play minutes Albino Iruinea shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Gualterio Estevon and just under the crossbar into goal. Albino Iruinea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Gualterio Estevon made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Iruinea got free with Gualterio Estevon in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute Feliciano Arnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Luciernaga FC's Gualterio Estevon got control of the ball when Albino Iruinea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club A. River Plate's Zeledon Clis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Jokin in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Aristides Oihenarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Clis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciernaga FC's Constantino Jokin got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constantino Jokin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zeledon Clis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Luciernaga FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club A. River Plate's performance. The match ended with a win for Club A. River Plate.
