In the 41st minute, Amigos Futbol Klub's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zeledon Aurken fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Melchor Boni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ananta Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marco Fliz fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agote's protests and gave Marco Fliz a yellow card for diving instead. Isidro Cresencio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Agote booed when Amigos Futbol Klub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Cresencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Zeledon Aurken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Boni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
