Camilo Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Everardo Etxahun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Lando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Victoro went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Camilo Montez came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Rivadavia de Lincoln fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Montez couldn't finish the play. In the 35thth minute of the game Carmelo Efren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester United's Everardo Etxahun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carmelo Efren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Etxahun having to interfere. Isaac Victoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Lando made a huge save. After the first half Rivadavia de Lincoln were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Everardo Etxahun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivadavia de Lincoln. In the 71st minute, Isaac Victoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the game, Rivadavia de Lincoln's Carmelo Efren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Everardo Etxahun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Rodolfo Lando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Abaunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Abaunza's late challenge caught a Rivadavia de Lincoln's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Abaunza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Angelo Abaunza got a free kick in the 81st minute. Angelo Abaunza kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Abaunza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rivadavia de Lincoln's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
