Abel Quirze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 13th minute, Gregorio Gartzen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Deportivo Ateneo FC's Gregorio Gartzen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Abel Quirze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Gartzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 22nd play minutes Gregorio Gartzen shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Abel Quirze and just under the crossbar into goal. 25 minutes into the match, DULCESOFI's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Gartzen came free, but Abel Quirze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alejandro Baleren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DULCESOFI's Abel Quirze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Gartzen in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DULCESOFI's Gabriel Arnalt got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Gregorio Gartzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Patricio Urki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Abel Quirze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th match minute, DULCESOFI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Laurendi to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Aaron Galtero in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Ateneo FC's Natalio Raebert. 45 minutes into the game, Aaron Galtero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DULCESOFI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Ateneo FC the free kick. The supporters of Deportivo Ateneo FC booed when DULCESOFI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Galtero didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alejandro Baleren made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, DULCESOFI's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Gartzen came free, but Abel Quirze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Ateneo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Raebert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Gualterio Danel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Gartzen in the 73rd minute of play forced DULCESOFI's goalkeeper Abel Quirze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Bermund in the 74th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Hernan Lluterio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 87 minutes into the game, Gregorio Gartzen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Abel Quirze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute, Patricio Urki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Quirze was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After 95 played minutes Deportivo Ateneo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Gartzen.
