In the 29th minute, Emilio Ramone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fernández fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Emilio Claus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorato Tab's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. If Emilio Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Ramone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Feliberto Lastur made a huge save. When Iker Librado fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fernández's protests and gave Iker Librado a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Librado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Fernández were awarded a corner. Silvio Arano went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Fernández's corner Silvio Arano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Feliberto Lastur quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Atletico Ciudad Evita's Honorato Tab got a free kick in the 54th minute. Mario Del Campo might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Claus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Del Campo ran back to his position shaking his head. Mario Del Campo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliberto Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Ramone, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 66 played minutes Fernández got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Bonadona. Feliberto Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Librado in the 70th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Atletico Ciudad Evita's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Ramone came free, but Feliberto Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mario Del Campo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emilio Claus. That made the score 1-2 in the 83 minute of play. Feliberto Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Librado in the 88th minute of the match. The Atletico Ciudad Evita players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
