The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Gil was a little too slow when Sabino Vides got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Kimberley's zone, Feliberto Silban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Gil came out of the goal and Feliberto Silban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sabino Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gil having to interfere. Feliberto Silban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Daniel Gil made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Adrian Castel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabino Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Sabino Vides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nueva Chicago SL's Rodrigo Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Oinatz in the 30th minute of play. Pascual Atauri's late challenge caught a Kimberley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Atauri helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Nueva Chicago SL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Atauri to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Oinatz scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Darien, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sabino Vides made a kick off. Aquiles Arano hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Rafael Oinatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabino Vides in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Gil saved Kimberley from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Eustaquio Gaizkine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago SL's Jonas Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Gil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sabino Vides blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Gil having to make a save. Feliberto Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gil having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Chicago SL's zone, Rafael Oinatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Darien came out of the goal and Rafael Oinatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sabino Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sabino Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gil having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Fernan Gorosti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Kimberley's Jorge Farias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodrigo Darien. That made the score 1-2 after 86 minutes of play. 90 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago SL's Feliberto Silban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Gil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Kimberley's goal looked a bit too open when Sabino Vides came free, but Daniel Gil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabino Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gil having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Kimberley's Rafael Oinatz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Darien made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Kimberley were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Nueva Chicago SL's much stronger midfield.
