But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Panfilo couldn't finish the play. Lagunillas AFC's Delmiro Donio got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Israel Furtado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Cresconio in the 13th minute. Leo Viviano hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Gervasio Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 19 minutes, Delmiro Donio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagunillas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Donio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viggo Julian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Nazario went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. C.A. Delo's Viggo Julian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Panfilo in the 26th minute of play. If Delmiro Donio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute, Fausto Panfilo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lagunillas AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Delmiro Donio struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Viggo Julian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagunillas AFC. Carmelo Irrintzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Viggo Julian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lagunillas AFC's Fausto Panfilo got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to C.A. Delo getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Domingo Ramos hit a great ball. Fausto Panfilo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Fausto Panfilo made the kick off in the second half. Fausto Panfilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Viggo Julian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Gaskon in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Basilio Nazario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viggo Julian. C.A. Delo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basilio Nazario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Leo Viviano hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute Delmiro Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Julian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Delmiro Donio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagunillas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Donio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Delo's zone, Fausto Panfilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viggo Julian came out of the goal and Fausto Panfilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Viviano during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes C.A. Delo got a freekick which was hit by Leo Viviano. Israel Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Theobald in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of C.A. Delo booed when Lagunillas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Arnoets didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 minutes of play, C.A. Delo's Bonifacio Laurentzi made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Israel Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Laurentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Lagunillas AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A. Delo throughout the match.
