Basilio Nazario kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Delmar Edur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Lagunillas AFC's Basilio Nazario got a free kick in the 14th minute. Lagunillas AFC's Israel Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Barbosa in the 19th minute of play. Israel Furtado was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Esteve Mitxel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Esteve Mitxel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The supporters of Piquillín booed when Lagunillas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Gaskon didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Piquillín getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tomas Beltxe hit a great ball. After 29 minutes of play, Lagunillas AFC's Delmiro Donio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clodoveo Tebaldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lagunillas AFC's Israel Furtado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Lagunillas AFC from getting a goal against them. After 38 minutes of play, Piquillín's Gerardo Chorche made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Lagunillas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Mitxel came free, but Israel Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Mitxel in the 46th minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Chorche to strike the kick off in the second half. Fausto Panfilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Tebaldo having to interfere. Israel Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Mitxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Esteve Mitxel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piquillín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Israel Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Regis in the 69th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Piquillín got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Tximitx. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Delmiro Donio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagunillas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmiro Donio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Tebaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Israel Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Beltxe in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Mitxel in the 78th minute of play forced Lagunillas AFC's goalkeeper Israel Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Tomas Beltxe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piquillín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lagunillas AFC the free kick. After 80 played minutes Piquillín got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Beltxe. Honorato Criston charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Criston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lagunillas AFC booed when Piquillín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Criston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piquillín's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
