The Cachiyuyo fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Cachiyuyo's Leonardo Txatxu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leonardo Txatxu struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Gabriel Nabar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachiyuyo. Aaron Godoy charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Godoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Academia RC booed when Cachiyuyo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Godoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Txatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Nabar having to interfere. If Leonardo Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Pio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rdth minute of the game Leonardo Txatxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia RC's Gabriel Nabar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute of the game Feliberto Eguen made a throw-in which Joaquin Pio played forward. In the 46th minute Leonardo Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Pio in the 47th minute of play forced Cachiyuyo's goalkeeper Feliberto Niguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saturnino Kinsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saturnino Kinsen had several of the Cachiyuyo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Feliberto Niguel as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Txatxu in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Nabar saved Academia RC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Cecilio Edorta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachiyuyo's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Edorta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Nabar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Leonardo Txatxu put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Nabar. In the 70th minute, Cecilio Edorta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Leonardo Txatxu notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Academia RC's Gabriel Nabar. Gabriel Nabar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Leonardo Txatxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benigno Calvet might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Nabar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Calvet ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonardo Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Octavio Lain fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia RC's protests and gave Octavio Lain a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Octavio Lain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Academia RC's zone, Cecilio Lico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Nabar came out of the goal and Cecilio Lico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cachiyuyo had played much better football throughout.
