Mariano Eudoxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Donostia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Plopeanu in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE MardelPlata's Ovidio Raymundo got a free kick in the 25th minute. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE MardelPlata getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Dionisio Basualdo hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Arnaldo Corderun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE MardelPlata's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Mark came free, but Santo Donostia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Clemente Fc reached it.

San Clemente Fc's Nicanor Iraido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Bikendi in the 65th minute of play. Leonides Peru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Santo Donostia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Sorin Plopeanu made a precise shot to the right of Santo Donostia. INDEPENDIENTE MardelPlata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Leonides Peru succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 87th playminute. Sorin Plopeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th match minute, INDEPENDIENTE MardelPlata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Goyo to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. San Clemente Fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
