Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jimeno Umbruso started the match with the kick off. If Jimeno Umbruso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Vigil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Hugo Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Leguizamón in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, Chumbicha FC's Celestino Elodio got control of the ball when Jimeno Umbruso tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Celestino Elodio managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Nacate's Vladimiro Leguizamón fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dario Oskarbi hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Timoteo Rocio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Rocio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 played minutes Nacate got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Lico. After having played for 34 minutes, Eleuterio Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chumbicha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Hermelando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Vigil in the 36th minute of play. Eleuterio Bautista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celestino Elodio made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jimeno Umbruso sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eleuterio Bautista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ezequiel Txaran's late challenge caught a Nacate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Txaran helped the player get up and apologised. Ezequiel Txaran hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Nacate's Jimeno Umbruso in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chumbicha FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 59th minute, Jimeno Umbruso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Bautista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hugo Hermelando, 0-1. Jimeno Umbruso took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Elodio. Celestino Elodio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 70 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Leguizamón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Elodio. Chumbicha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimiro Leguizamón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 79th match minute, Nacate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Lico to maneuver through the defense. The Nacate fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Nacate's Vladimiro Leguizamón looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nacate fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chumbicha FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
