When Jairo Jon came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the HUACHIPATO F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Jon couldn't finish the play. When Leonardo Unai fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HUACHIPATO F. C.'s protests and gave Leonardo Unai a yellow card for diving instead. Leonardo Unai kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Jairo Jon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Miraflores FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Fernando Veremundo hit a great ball. After 20 minutes of play, Miraflores FC's Julian Eztebe made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonel Cristos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in HUACHIPATO F. C.'s zone, Julian Eztebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Cristos came out of the goal and Julian Eztebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of HUACHIPATO F. C. booed when Miraflores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Cristos having to interfere. Julian Eztebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Leonel Cristos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Fernando Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miraflores FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Veremundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Cristos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Eztebe got free with Leonel Cristos in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Veremundo to strike the kick off in the second half. Julian Eztebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Cristos having to interfere. Fernando Veremundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Osmundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Miraflores FC's Fernando Veremundo got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Eztebe struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Leonel Cristos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miraflores FC. HUACHIPATO F. C.'s Leonel Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Eztebe in the 78th minute of play. Leonardo Unai got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Wilfredo Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, HUACHIPATO F. C.'s Wilfredo Cordarryl got a free kick in the 86th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Miraflores FC's Julian Eztebe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonel Cristos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Julian Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Miraflores FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
