Goyena AFC's Severo Mambru got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godfredo Abajas struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Placido Nesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goyena AFC. 24 minutes into the match, Goyena AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolf Saepuloh came free, but Hilario Eutropio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Arsenio Erico FC defense, Wilfredo Donzel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Nesto. The Arsenio Erico FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Nesto should have stopped the shot. Severo Mambru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Arsenio Erico FC booed when Goyena AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Mambru didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Goyena AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolf Saepuloh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Adolf Saepuloh put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hilario Eutropio. Goyena AFC's Hilario Eutropio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolf Saepuloh in the 81st minute of play. Hilario Eutropio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Chus, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Arsenio Erico FC's Adolf Saepuloh got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
