The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Figueroa got free with Paulo Santiago in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Lopes in the 30th minute of play forced Ranqueles's goalkeeper Desiderio Tabb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ranqueles's goalkeeper Desiderio Tabb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Puisoyé players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
