The Olavarría FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Olavarría FC's Lucas Homo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cesar Locaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Oliviero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Turi in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Murio en Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Bertin came free, but Evelio Mateo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santo Nerio struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Evelio Mateo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olavarría FC. If Santo Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carolo Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Mateo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Olavarría FC's Jonathan Policarpio got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Olavarría FC's Santo Nerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evelio Mateo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Nerio in the 83rd minute of play forced Murio en Madrid's goalkeeper Evelio Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Murio en Madrid's goalkeeper Evelio Mateo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Murio en Madrid's Evelio Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Nerio in the 88th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Olavarría FC had played much better football throughout.
