In the 20th minute of the match, Ricardo Raebert got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonas Iratzeder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jonas Iratzeder made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ricardo Raebert sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Raebert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jonas Iratzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes in the game Eugenio Florinio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Christian Errando. Saturnino Mattin scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Sanchez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Mattin in the 40th minute of play forced La Cruz del Sur's goalkeeper Raul Sanchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jairo Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute, Enrique Txordon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Tamberia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Errando came free, but Jonas Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Florin scored 1-3 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Iratzeder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Bittor got free with Raul Sanchez in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Jose Lauren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Jairo Botello took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Raul Sanchez to make any attempt to save it. After 74 played minutes Tamberia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Txordon. La Cruz del Sur's Ricardo Raebert got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Christian Errando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Enrique Txordon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tamberia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Txordon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Alonzo Avellaneda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Cruz del Sur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tamberia AFC the free kick. 86 minutes into the game, one of La Cruz del Sur:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 95 minutes into the game, Saturnino Mattin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raul Sanchez. Saturnino Mattin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. The Tamberia AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tamberia AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
