Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amado Pello took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alvaro Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Atilano Abadie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido's Atilano Abadie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Guido from getting a goal against them. 5 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Teodor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guido's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ranquilcó FC the free kick. When Gerardo Ofelio came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Ranquilcó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Ofelio couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Amado Pello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Polo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, Guido's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Ofelio came free, but Atilano Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Ofelio scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilano Abadie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th match minute, Ranquilcó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Rodas to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guido's goalkeeper Atilano Abadie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atilano Abadie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Estebe in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Guido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Burni to maneuver through the defense. Gerardo Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amado Pello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Polo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Fernando Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Millan in the 38th minute of play. Atilano Abadie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Amado Pello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Ranquilcó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Karlo to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Urre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ranquilcó FC's zone, Ildefonso Teodor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Polo came out of the goal and Ildefonso Teodor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Ofelio to make the kick off. Hermengildo Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Marcelo Millan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fernando Polo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernando Polo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amado Pello went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ranquilcó FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Urre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Jacobo Jerold replaced Amado Pello. When Horacio Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranquilcó FC's protests and gave Horacio Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, one of Ranquilcó FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ranquilcó FC. When the match had been going on for 100 minutes, Guido's Fidel Urre got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fernando Polo. The Ranquilcó FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guido were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
