But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolf Boyesen couldn't finish the play. Moises Katia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaston Iturri struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jonny Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Messi FC. Conrado Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jonny Karlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cascadas FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Eloy Bermund hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cascadas FC's zone, Conrado Urtats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonny Karlsson came out of the goal and Conrado Urtats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Papo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Darien saved Messi FC from getting behind. After having played for 31 minutes, Conrado Urtats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Messi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Urtats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gogo Santikurtz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Eloy Papo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Darien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Bermund kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Fernando Chaves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cascadas FC and the Messi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 40 minutes into the game, one of Cascadas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jonny Karlsson had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Rolf Boyesen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cascadas FC's Jonny Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Iturri in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Cascadas FC's goalkeeper Jonny Karlsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Urtats. 49 minutes into the match, Messi FC's Gaston Iturri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonny Karlsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy Papo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eloy Bermund charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eloy Bermund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cascadas FC's Eloy Bermund got a free kick in the 71st minute. Jonny Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Boyesen in the 77th minute of the match. If Conrado Urtats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Gaston Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eloy Bermund kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Cascadas FC's Jonny Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Iturri in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Cascadas FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Messi FC side.
