The supporters of Felinos hijos de Lopezin booed when MONOS VERDES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Benvido didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ubaldo Betadur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes MONOS VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Benvido. MONOS VERDES's Fabricio Benvido got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascual Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Marco Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Betadur took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Rio. Marco Rio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Gil in the 27th minute of play forced Felinos hijos de Lopezin's goalkeeper Marco Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MONOS VERDES's Ubaldo Betadur got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascual Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Marco Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabricio Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Betadur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Rio having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Ezkerra in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Gabrio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 0-2 became the score in the 43rd minute when Pascual Gil elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Felinos hijos de Lopezin's zone, Fabricio Benvido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Rio came out of the goal and Fabricio Benvido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pascual Gil made a kick off. With a little luck, Felinos hijos de Lopezin's Marco Rio got control of the ball when Fabricio Benvido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabricio Benvido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Rio having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Pascual Gil fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marco Rio, passed just outside the right post. In the 58th minute, Fabricio Benvido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Rio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Betadur in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Felinos hijos de Lopezin's zone, Fabricio Benvido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Rio came out of the goal and Fabricio Benvido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th match minute, MONOS VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Sabin to maneuver through the defense. Felinos hijos de Lopezin's Marco Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Betadur in the 73rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabricio Benvido during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabricio Benvido hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Betadur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Rio having to make a save.
