Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leo Guillen started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Leo Guillen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulino Cerilo might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Mitxaut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulino Cerilo ran back to his position shaking his head. Esperanza's Martin Mitxaut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Esperanza from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, La Fabro's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Mitxel came free, but Nunez Firmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Guillen in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the game, Paulino Vidal landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 24 minutes into the game, Geronimo Hulberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esperanza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Fabro the free kick. A collision led to Esperanza getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Geronimo Hulberto hit a great ball. Faustino Jusepe took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Mitxaut. Martin Mitxaut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. La Fabro's Nunez Firmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Bemabe in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Guillen in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Mitxaut saved Esperanza from getting behind. Lech Kendra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Esperanza's zone, Leo Guillen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Mitxaut came out of the goal and Leo Guillen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Gaston Ekain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Fabro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esperanza the free kick. A collision led to La Fabro getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gaston Ekain hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Justo Bemabe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nunez Firmo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. La Fabro's Horacio Burutzagi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Silvio Afonso, made in the 47th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geronimo Hulberto to make the kick off. If Leo Guillen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66thth minute of the game Geronimo Hulberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Fabro's Nunez Firmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When La Fabro's Leo Guillen in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esperanza's goalie prevented a goal. If Paulino Cerilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Guillen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Martin Mitxaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When La Fabro's Leo Guillen in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esperanza's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justo Bemabe got free with Nunez Firmo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to La Fabro getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Lech Kendra hit a great ball. Geronimo Hulberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Firmo having to interfere. Faustino Jusepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Guillen in the 86th minute of the match. Leo Guillen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Martin Mitxaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Rivero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Mitxaut. Esperanza's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Leo Guillen notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Esperanza's Martin Mitxaut. Martin Mitxaut was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Fabro fully deserved thier win.
