Eugenio Nataniel charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Nataniel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eugenio Nataniel hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Lino Paul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valeriu Banica's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valeriu Banica in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Paul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Nataniel got free with Alonzo Iratxo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valeriu Banica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A River Plate's Eugenio Nataniel came free and shot a quick shot against goal 35 minutes in the game, fortunately Alonzo Iratxo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. A nice corner shot did that Oscar Havier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alonzo Iratxo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alonzo Iratxo made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Eugenio Nataniel sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, C.A River Plate's Rosendo Lizer got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Siro Bernal made the kick off in the second half. Benicio Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Paul having to interfere. Lino Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Banica, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Hijos del Powa's Alonzo Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Bernal in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Bernard Paciuszko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Valeriu Banica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A River Plate's Lino Paul was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valeriu Banica struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Lino Paul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hijos del Powa. Lino Paul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Abaunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valeriu Banica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Banica, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The referee ignored Hijos del Powa's protests and gave Bernard Paciuszko a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hijos del Powa getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Bernard Paciuszko hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Hijos del Powa's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Nataniel came free, but Alonzo Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A River Plate succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hijos del Powa had controlled the match.
