La City Mediterranea FC's Celestino Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhou Si Yuan in the 13th minute of play. Zhou Si Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celestino Basajaun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The Tecla29 fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Tecla29's Alfonso Hever looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhou Si Yuan in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Basajaun saved La City Mediterranea FC from getting behind. The supporters of Tecla29 booed when La City Mediterranea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Chuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Tecla29 fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Tecla29's Zhou Si Yuan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 30 minutes into the match, Tecla29's Zhou Si Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celestino Basajaun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vinicio Fagondo scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nunez Eneko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tecla29's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Endura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Basajaun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 47 minutes, Zhou Si Yuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tecla29's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhou Si Yuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Desiderio Pierres to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Hever took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Basajaun. Celestino Basajaun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After some careless play in the La City Mediterranea FC defense, Zhou Si Yuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Basajaun. The La City Mediterranea FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Basajaun should have stopped the shot. Ruperto Katia kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Zhou Si Yuan might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celestino Basajaun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhou Si Yuan ran back to his position shaking his head. After 66 played minutes Tecla29 got a freekick which was hit by Mei Jian Yin. After a rather tough play, La City Mediterranea FC's Vinicio Fagondo got a free kick in the 68th minute. Zhou Si Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zhou Si Yuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Celestino Basajaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tecla29's Zhou Si Yuan got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celestino Basajaun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfonso Hever showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 80 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tecla29's Alfonso Hever slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Celestino Basajaun. That made the score 2-7 after 83 minutes of play. With a little luck, La City Mediterranea FC's Celestino Basajaun got control of the ball when Zhou Si Yuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfonso Hever struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Celestino Basajaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tecla29. 91 minutes into the game, Matias Napier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La City Mediterranea FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tecla29 the free kick. In the 91st minute, Matias Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, La City Mediterranea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Fagondo to maneuver through the defense. Tecla29's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
