Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernesto Oier kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Matancilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Oier came free, but Leopoldo Conrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Miranda AFC were awarded a corner. Domingos Esquipula went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 9th minute, Severino Aureo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Matancilla FC booed when Miranda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Esquipula didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Ernesto Oier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miranda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Oier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaudencio Urtsua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Ernesto Oier notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Matancilla FC's Leopoldo Conrao. Leopoldo Conrao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ernesto Oier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Leopoldo Conrao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Nerio in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Gartzi saved Miranda AFC from getting behind. If Gaudencio Urtsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Gartzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Valerio in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Matancilla FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Conrao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Gartzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Nerio in the 45th minute of the match.

Miranda AFC's Tomas Gartzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Valerio in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Matancilla FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gerardo Tono hit a great ball. In the 67th match minute, Matancilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Nerio to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Valerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Cesar Nerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Tomas Gartzi made a huge save. Tomas Gartzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Valerio in the 76th minute of play. Tomas Gartzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Valerio in the 78th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Miranda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Esquipula. After a defensive mix-up in Matancilla FC's zone, Paulo Abarca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Conrao came out of the goal and Paulo Abarca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaudencio Urtsua struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Leopoldo Conrao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miranda AFC. After 93 played minutes Matancilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Nerio. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Miranda AFC had played much better football throughout.
