Spectators: 7032 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sergio Joey took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Verón's Romulo Abascal got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Urbano Pere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Ondino in the 5th minute. In the 5th minute, one of Verón:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Verón. Monteagudo FC's Jaime Pasqual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Joey in the 8th minute of play. Jaime Pasqual took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Romulo Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudencio Gau's late challenge caught a Verón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prudencio Gau helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute Jose Donzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Pere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Gau got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 29 played minutes Monteagudo FC got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Gau. In the 31st minute Vítor Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Chepe was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Monteagudo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Monteagudo FC:s Jaime Pasqual showed great skill when he stopped Vítor Fernandez:s penalty. In the 39th minute, Romulo Abascal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Pasqual was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jaime Pasqual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Fernandez in the 43rd minute of play. Jaime Pasqual didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Joey went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute, Romulo Abascal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iker Guillelmo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Demetrio Tundo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jaime Pasqual, passed just outside the right post. 58 minutes into the match, Monteagudo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Fernandez came free, but Jaime Pasqual reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Pasqual made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Romulo Abascal sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Vítor Fernandez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jaime Pasqual, 0-5. In the 65th minute, Verón's Romulo Abascal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Iker Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Iker Guillelmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monteagudo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Guillelmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Pere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urbano Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Guillelmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Joey got free with Jaime Pasqual in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Guillelmo in the 83rd minute of play forced Verón's goalkeeper Urbano Pere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Vítor Fernandez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jaime Pasqual. The goal made the score 2-7. If Iker Guillelmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Monteagudo FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Ondino. Verón's Isaac Gorri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Monteagudo FC. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Romulo Abascal took a quick shot and it went in 2-8 without a chance for Jaime Pasqual to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Verón left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Monteagudo FC.
