After a rather tough play, LEONIDAS's Oscar Gamus got a free kick in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Gamus in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualterio Nayely saved Atletico de Rafaela from getting behind. Atletico de Rafaela's Gualterio Nayely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Gamus in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Gamus in the 28th minute of play forced Atletico de Rafaela's goalkeeper Gualterio Nayely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, LEONIDAS's Oscar Gamus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gualterio Nayely. Gualterio Nayely yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 43 played minutes Atletico de Rafaela got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Montrel. Gualterio Nayely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Gamus in the 44th minute of the match. During the 47th minute of the match Oscar Gamus completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Oscar Gamus a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Atletico de Rafaela booed when LEONIDAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Gamus didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro Etor to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Ciceron notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Atletico de Rafaela's Gualterio Nayely. Gualterio Nayely was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, LEONIDAS's German Txerran got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Albino Urtats helped the player get up and apologised. When Lisandro Etor came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Atletico de Rafaela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Etor couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Feliberto Raymundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Ciceron in the 90th minute of play forced Atletico de Rafaela's goalkeeper Gualterio Nayely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
