After 34 minutes of play, C.A La Maquinita's Jaime Pacho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Argi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leon Pereyra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Teodoro Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juanchi FC's Teodoro Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pacho in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Marcial Etor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A La Maquinita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Etor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolf Fossan made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Rolf Fossan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juanchi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A La Maquinita the free kick. Rolf Fossan hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Bernardo Norino struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Teodoro Argi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A La Maquinita. When Leon Pereyra fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pacho in the 64th minute of play forced Juanchi FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Rolf Fossan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Rolf Fossan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Clemencin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.A La Maquinita's Alejo Criston got a free kick in the 69th minute. Pastor Frasco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mario Clemencin. C.A La Maquinita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute Jaime Pacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Argi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Olivar hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Santos Lore kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Jaime Pacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juanchi FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though C.A La Maquinita had controlled the match.
