But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Colas couldn't finish the play. Huelén's Salvador Sandalio got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregorio Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Astudillo having to interfere. Eustacio Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Ugaitz in the 14th minute of play. Salvador Sandalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eustacio Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Bieito hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Huelén's Eriberto Abeijon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Eustacio Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Ugaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Colas in the 40th minute of play forced Ranchos FC's goalkeeper Eustacio Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Ugaitz struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Eustacio Astudillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huelén. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anastasio Jeraldo to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Colas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Huelén's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Florentino Jerold was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ranchos FC's Eustacio Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Ugaitz in the 92nd minute of play. Eustacio Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Ugaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ranchos FC's goalkeeper Eustacio Astudillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Huelén could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ranchos FC throughout the match.
