Teneme al nene FC's Blas Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Osmundo in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Beremundo in the 28th minute of play forced Los Podridos's goalkeeper Atilano Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Louis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Osmundo in the 29th minute of play. Angel Satordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Satordi charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Satordi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Cordarius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Teneme al nene FC defense, Angel Satordi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blas Louis. The Teneme al nene FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blas Louis should have stopped the shot. During the 63rd minute of the match Angel Satordi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Angel Satordi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Atilano Duardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artemio Cordarius in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Saturnino Beremundo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Atilano Duardo, 1-4. The supporters of Teneme al nene FC booed when Los Podridos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Teneme al nene FC's Artemio Cordarius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Atilano Duardo. That made the score 1-5 after 85 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Teneme al nene FC's Arsenio Geofredo got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes, Los Podridos's Honorio Calvet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Blas Louis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Podridos reached it.
