Isidro Llorian kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Betania's keeper Emanuel Luken was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 25th minute, Ermegildo Phelipe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Betania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Phelipe in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Federigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prospero Giraldo's late challenge caught a Pierini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Giraldo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Betania booed when Pierini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Manex didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Isidro Llorian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pierini's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Llorian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Luken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
