In the 45thth minute of the game Segundo Asier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corrientes FC's Simon Osasun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Corrientes FC's Isaias Santo got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Mitxel was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teofilo Piorno during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59thth minute of the game Ermegildo Phelipe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corrientes FC's Simon Osasun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Efrain Lohitzun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Emanuel Luken when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Simon Osasun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Basajaun's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Efrain Lohitzun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corrientes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Lohitzun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Luken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Osasun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Segundo Asier's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Efrain Lohitzun succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 76th playminute. In the 80th minute of the match Fausto Matteo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Luken skillfully saved the ball.
