In the 7th minute Iker Librado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chacarita FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Iker Librado scored to the left of an out of position Fidel Naldo, making the score, 2-0. Federico Deunoro hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Fidel Naldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Giöck went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Fidel Naldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Dantae in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Petroquimica's John Giöck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fidel Naldo. Fidel Naldo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. After a rather tough play, Petroquimica's Erasmo Mosen got a free kick in the 27th minute. Chacarita FC's Fidel Naldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Chacarita FC from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Chacarita FC's goalkeeper Fidel Naldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Dantae. Fidel Naldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Mosen went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Petroquimica's Fidel Naldo threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iker Librado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40th minute John Giöck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Manuel Dantae ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Naldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Fidel Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Giöck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute of the match, Erasmo Mosen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fidel Naldo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fidel Naldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Librado in the 51st minute of play. Fidel Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Mosen in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Chacarita FC booed when Petroquimica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Horado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Federico Deunoro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Petroquimica's Nereo Navarro didn't even have to move. Luiz Gustavo Pontes's late challenge caught a Petroquimica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Gustavo Pontes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Luiz Gustavo Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Manuel Dantae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Chacarita FC defense, Iker Librado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Naldo. The Chacarita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Naldo should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute, Ciro Ubendu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Naldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Fidel Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Giöck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Chacarita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Librado came free, but Fidel Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Erasmo Mosen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Petroquimica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Giöck in the 92nd minute of play forced Chacarita FC's goalkeeper Fidel Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Petroquimica fully deserved thier win.
